3 Tsp instant coffee (I used Nescafe grounded regular coffee and it’s super tasty!)
3 Tsp sugar (you can add less sugar, but SUSU like it sweet)
3 Tsp hot water
3/4 cup to 1 cup milk (your choice), chilled or heated
ice cubes (optional)
* 1 Tsp = 5ml *Depending on how strong or sweet you like your coffee, you may change the portions, as long as the Coffee/ Sugar/ Water remain equal in parts.
1. Add Coffee, sugar and hot water is added into a bowl and whisked until it reaches creamy, velvety creamy texture, similar to a creamy frosted cake topping.
Note; we recommend using a hand mixer as the process using a whisk can be tedious.
2. Once, you are satisfied with the texture, simply dollop the whipped coffee cream on top of your beverage of choice.

hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. Occasionally, it is topped with coffee powder, cocoa, crumbled biscuits, or honey.

Dalgona Coffee was invented in S. Korea, named after a famous street snack popular in S. Korea, and named Dalgona Coffee by a famous S. Korean TV presenter.
The beverage is based on an Indian drink known as Phenti Hui coffee (or beaten coffee).
Can you make Dalgona coffee with regular espresso coffee beans?
Simple answer is no. In order to create the coffee creamy texture, Instant coffee is needed and from my experiments and others, using grounded coffee beans, does give you the desired results.
